Supreme Court indirect purchaser price-fixing class action hearing date set

The companion cases Pro-Sys and Sun-Rype now have a Supreme Court of Canada hearing date set: June 5, 2012. These two class-action lawsuits allege indirect purchaser price-fixing, and come up from the British Columbia Court of Appeal. The court in both cases set aside Supreme Court of British Columbia decisions granting class certification, and dismissed the class action lawsuits because the representative plaintiffs were indirect purchasers with no cause of action.
