
Campos Mello Advogados, a Brazilian law firm with close cooperative ties to DLA Piper, has welcomed a new head of antitrust, in São Paulo. Luciana Martorano’s addition to Campos Mello Advogados is a next step from launching her own competition law boutique in São Paulo two years ago, Martorano Law.
She brings over a decades’ experience handling national and international antitrust and competition matters, drafting corporate leniency agreements, and representing clients before Brazilian competition watchdog, the Administrative Council for Economic Defence.
“Her extensive knowledge of antitrust law, including her experience creating business strategies involving antitrust and regulatory issues related to the high-tech industry, digital economy and disruptive markets, will be highly beneficial to clients,” said Campos Mello managing partner, Fabio Campos Mello, in a statement.
