The appointment of the head of the watchdog has been delayed for several months, which has affected the functioning of the body, according to antitrust lawyers.
The commission is currently conducting an investigation into alleged anti-competitive practices by some of the largest companies in the world, such as Apple, Amazon, and Walmart’s Flipkart.
