The firm’s founder announced the launch in a LinkedIn post, describing Bond PLLC as a practice designed to help clients navigate complex legal and policy challenges involving competition law and government oversight.

The new venture follows the founder’s tenure at Cuneo Gilbert Flannery & LaDuca LLP, where the attorney chaired the firm’s public policy and legislative affairs practice, according to the announcement.

Before joining Cuneo Gilbert, the founder served at the Justice Department and led the House Antitrust Subcommittee’s investigation into competition in digital markets, a congressional inquiry that examined competitive conditions in the technology sector.

Bond PLLC will adopt a pro-enforcement approach to competition policy, according to the LinkedIn statement. Its work will center on competition strategy, investigations and political intelligence, reflecting the growing overlap between antitrust law, legislative developments and regulatory decision-making.

The launch marks a return to independent practice for an attorney whose career has spanned federal law enforcement, congressional investigations and private-sector advocacy.

In announcing the firm, the founder emphasized the importance of helping clients address legal and policy issues that extend beyond traditional antitrust litigation, particularly where government investigations and political considerations intersect.

The founder also acknowledged former colleagues at Cuneo Gilbert, including Pamela Gilbert, Charles “CJ” LaDuca, Amanda G. Lewis, Sarah Rooney, Joseph Van Wye, Zach Freed and Nicholas Xu, crediting them for their collaboration and support during the preceding two years.

The announcement indicated that the founder expects to maintain professional relationships and continue collaborating with former colleagues following the departure.

The LinkedIn statement did not disclose Bond PLLC’s initial client roster, staffing arrangements or financial details.
