New Chair Of State Bar Of Texas Antitrust Section Named

Thomas D. York, an associate in Jones Day’s Antitrust & Competition Law Practice in Dallas, will serve as Chair of the State Bar of Texas’ Antitrust & Business Litigation Section from August 2020-June 2021. Mr. York was elected as Chair during the Antitrust Section’s annual meeting in 2019. The Antitrust Section sponsors seminars on topics relevant to Texas practitioners, publishes on antitrust and complex business litigation, and provides recommendations on antitrust enforcement.

    Mr. York is an active leader in bar association activities. He currently serves as Chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Antitrust & Trade Regulation Section as well as the Vice Chair of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law’s Transportation and Energy Committee.
