Robert Lepore, previously a Section Chief at the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, has joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a partner.
With a wealth of experience in antitrust law, Lepore’s arrival bolsters the firm’s capabilities in the Antitrust & Competition practice group. Based in Los Angeles and Washington, DC, he brings a formidable track record, including notable successes such as the JetBlue/Spirit Airlines merger challenge.

During his tenure at the Antitrust Division spanning over 13 years, Lepore oversaw numerous investigations and trials across a wide array of industries, earning recognition with prestigious awards such as the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service. His expertise extends to managing Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, negotiating settlements, and leading industry-changing mergers like the proposed Comcast/Time Warner merger.
