For example, iPatientCare recently announced that it partnered with Global Payments to create a system that streamlines operations and improve revenues for medical practices. According to a recent Health Tech Zone article, the iPatientCarePractice Management System (PMS) will be integrated with Global Payments.

The joint project is also designed to offer a better payments process to patients.

As reported by the news source, submitting claims and posting reimbursements will now be automated, which means that doctors can reduce administrative staff and invest more capital and time in delivering better care to their patients.

iPatientCare Senior Technology Officer Vipul Patel said in a statement that iPatientCare is very excited to offer its new payments solutions.

“It is designed to improve practice collections and ensures convenience to patients in making payments,” Patel said. “Physicians’ offices using the new capabilities in the iPatientCare software will benefit from the expedited patient payments, reduced bad debts and lower collection expenses.”
