DLA Piper will strengthen its Hamburg office with the appointment of Dr Justus Herrlinger as a new partner in the antitrust practice, effective 1 November 2021. Dr Justus Herrlinger joins DLA Piper from White & Case, where he was a partner. In Hamburg two associates will be part of the antitrust team.
Dr Justus Herrlinger’s practice covers all fields of antitrust law, including cartel investigations, merger control proceedings, company cooperations, cases of abuse of a dominant position as well as antitrust damages litigation. In international M&A transactions he regularly advises on multi-jurisdictional filing requirements.
Moreover, Justus Herrlinger is experienced in notification proceedings for foreign direct investments in cross-border acquisitions. He has more than fifteen years of experience in advising and representing national and international clients in a broad variety of competition law cases. Dr Justus Herrlinger represents clients before the Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), the European Commission and litigates cases before civil courts
