UK: OFT revises cartel leniency program

The Office of Fair Trading revised its cartel leniency program for both companies and individuals, publishing the revisions on Tuesday. Two so-called Quick Guides will advise those applying for the leniency program, which grants a lessening of penalties or altogether immunity from criminal prosecution for cartel behavior. Among the changes is the exclusion of requiring the submission of legal professional privilege waivers. Reports say the revisions are effective immediately.
