UK: OFT approves pharma merger

In a press release the OFT has announced its approval for United Drug plc to acquire Pharmexx UK Limited. United, based in Ireland, initially agreed to buy the former subsidiary of Germany-based Celesio AG last July. Both companies specialize in sales of pharmaceutical services and products.
