Malaysia: Antitrust regulator MyCC begins its first investigations

The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) has officially begun revieing the nation’s anti-competitive behavior via what it calls a “soft approach.” Among its investigations includes a price-fixing charge against Cameron Highland florists, as well as probes into the steel and cement-making industries. MyCC was established in 2010 under the nation’s Competition Act 2010.
