Russia: Watchdog wary of Aeroflot – Sheremetyevo deal

The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) said on Wednesday that it might block a strategic deal allowing Aeroflot, Russia’s largest airline to use more Sheremetyevo international airport’s terminals if it restricts competition on the market. Aeroflot, a core shareholder of Sheremetyevo international airport, signed a strategic alliance deal with its main air hub in Moscow to receive the airport’s terminals D, E, and F of Sheremetyevo international airport for its flights.
