The Dutch government said it has brought the country’s consumer protection legislation in line with the European directive. The directive gives customers 14 days to think about their purchase, for either product or service, bought in a shop or online store. The risk of damage or loss will now be passed on to the buyer only after receipt of the product. The legislation also contains a uniform system for when sellers deliver goods too late.
