Dewey’s antitrust partners Jeffrey Kessler, A. Paul Victor, Peter Crowther leave for Winston & Strawn

Prominent antitrust and sports law attorney Jeffrey L. Kessler is leaving Dewey LeBoeuf for Winston & Strawn. Although partners have been departing from the embattled law firm in a steady stream since the beginning of the year, Kessler’s move is notable because he is the firm’s head of litigation and a member of Dewey’s office of the chairman. Furthermore, Kessler publicly advocated the controversial contract system of compensation that set Dewey apart from other law firms.
