JetAway lawsuit against Montrose County and Jet Center dismissed

U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch has dismissed JetAway Aviation’s antitrust lawsuit against Montrose County of California and Jet Center Partners. JetAway had alleged that Montrose County and Jet Center principals had conspired to rig bids in violation of the Sherman Act, to put it out of business and create a monopoly. Montrose County had rejected JetAway’s 2005 bid to become the fixed-base operator for Montrose Regional Airport; the county opted for Jet Center instead.
