FTC approves Sigma settlement, brings charges against two other water product companies

The FTC has approved a final order settling charges that Sigma Corporation engaged in anticompetitive conduct in the muncipal water system iron pipe fitting market. Sigma develops, manufactures and supplies water products. As part of the settlement, Sigma has agreed to refrain from using similar business practices in the future. The FTC also brings charges against Sigma’s competitors, McWane and Star Pipe Product.
