Trinidad Cement Limited granted application to challenge cement trade report

The Caricom Competition Commission had issued a report on the region’s cement trade, which included an investigation into Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL) that began in December 2009. TCL has now been granted an application for special leave to challenge this report by the Caribbean Court of Justice. The application, filed on November 1, 2011, claimed that it was deprived of procedural opportunities to respond to the investigation, as it was informed of the probe only on September 2, 2011.
