Acting Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chairwoman Rebecca Kelly Slaughter announced that she has appointed Lindsay Kryzak as Director of the agency’s Office of Public Affairs.
“Especially during a pandemic, communicating with the public in clear and efficient ways about the FTC’s work is vital to the agency’s mission,” said Acting Chairwoman Slaughter. “Lindsay’s expertise working with the press and in the digital space will be a major asset to the Commission, and I am very happy to welcome her to the team.”
Kryzak joins the FTC from her most recent position as the Director of Corporate Communications for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where she oversaw strategic communications with a focus on both traditional and digital media. Prior to that, Kryzak served as a staffer for US Senator Chuck Schumer and the US Senate Democrats, where she also worked on communications strategy as Director of Digital Media.
