Chicago-based plaintiffs boutique DiCello Levitt Gutzler has lured Labaton Sucharow’s antitrust practice group, including its chair. “It’s not every day that a top-tier antitrust practice moves,” founding partner Adam J. Levitt said.
Chicago-headquartered plaintiffs boutique DiCello Levitt Gutzler announced Tuesday the expansion of its antitrust practice by luring seven lawyers from Labaton Sucharow.

The new group, based in New York, increases DiCello Levitt’s overall attorney headcount by 15%.
Gregory Asciolla, who chaired the antitrust and competition litigation practice at Labaton, will now chair this practice group at DiCello Levitt. He is joined by partners Karin Garvey, Robin A. van der Meulen and Matthew Perez, as well as associates Veronica Bosco and Jonathan Crevier.
On April 5, Corban S. Rhodes will be the seventh lateral move from Labaton to DiCello Levitt, joining the firm as a partner in its privacy technology and cybersecurity practice group.
“The only way to truly break into the antitrust practice is with a top-tier antitrust practice group,” DiCello Levitt co-founding partner Adam J. Levitt said. And with the Labaton group, he said the firm did exactly that.
