The global law firm Jones Day announced that James A. (“Jim”) Reeder, Jr. has joined the Firm’s Business & Tort Litigation Practice as a partner in its Houston Office.
Mr. Reeder represents clients across multiple sectors including the chemical, health care, commercial aviation, energy, and entertainment industries. He has tried cases involving claims of price-fixing, group boycott, exclusive dealing, tying, monopolization, discriminatory pricing, and conspiracy. Mr. Reeder has advised on matters and tried cases involving claims of fraud, negligent misrepresentation, RICO, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive trade practices, and violations of federal and state securities laws. A former investment banker, he combines advocacy skills with an understanding of complex financial and economic issues.
