The US Federal Trade Commission announced new appointments to senior positions on Monday, beginning with Deborah Feinstein, who is the head of Arnold & Porter’s antitrust practice and has been named the FTC’s director of the Bureau of Competition. This will not be the only antitrust leadership position for a lawyer from Arnold & Porter – the firm’s former leader, William Baer, currently sits as the assistant attorney general in charge of the DOJ’s Antitrust Division. Additional appointments to the FTC include: Jessica Rich has been named the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection and will enter the seat after serving as Associate Director in Charge of the Division of Financial practices. Jonathan E. Neuchterlein has been appointed to General Counsel and comes to the FTC from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr. For a full list of new appointments, click the link below.
