US: MoFo antitrust partner wins legal writing award

    Charles Barquist won the award to recognize his excellence in legal writing. Presented in conjunction with the Law Library of Congress, the award was given to Barquist for his paper, “Challenging Validity in the PTO Under the 2011 American Invests Act.”

    The paper examines the effects on patent challenging under the American Invests Act.

    Barquist is a partner at the Morrison & Foerster Intellectual Property Group and specializes in antitrust and unfair competition in the firm’s Los Angeles location.
