Senator Grassley’s Ex-Chief Of Staff Joins Crowell & Moring

Aaron Cummings, formerly with Senator Grassley’s staff, has joined Crowell & Moring to co-chair the firm’s Government Affairs Group with Jim Flood. Flood previously served as Counsel to Sen. Majority Leader Schumer.

    The firm has reinforced its government affairs team with the addition of Flood, Douglas, and Beale. Douglas previously served as finance director to U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, while Beale has worked as a staffer for U.S. Senators Gillibrand and Clinton, and as an associate vice president at PhRMA.

    Cummings has worked as a Congressional policy advocate and held positions as chief constitution and crime counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee during Grassley’s tenure as ranking member. He has experience working with the Senate Finance, Agricultural, and Budget committees where Senator Grassley held leadership roles, and is recognized for his ability to collaborate with members from both parties. Additionally, Cummings has worked closely with Republican Senate leadership and key members of the House of Representatives.
