Van Bael & Bellis Promotes EU Law Specialist

Van Bael & Bellis has announced the promotion of EU law specialist Aldo Scalini to Counsel.

Scalini joined Van Bael & Bellis in December 2011 and has 15 years of experience in EU Trade Law, Competition Law, and Litigation. Aldo represents clients in investigations initiated by the European Commission and proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union. 

Scalini has a strong expertise in EU anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard investigations initiated by the EU and by third countries. He also assists public bodies, companies and individuals that are targeted by EU sanctions and advises international companies on compliance with trade laws, economic sanctions and export control laws. 

Scalini has a wealth of experience in the field of State aid. His experience also includes advising clients on antitrust compliance programmes as well as distribution and licensing agreements.
