MLAB, a leading Spanish law firm in competition law and EU law, has promoted Alfonso Rincón to partnership. Rincón has extensive experience in advising companies before the European Commission and Spanish competition authorities, both national and regional.
His practice includes matters related to restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position, State aid and unfair competition in a wide range of economic sectors, such as commercial distribution, copyright management, sports or the collaborative economy. The new MLAB partner is lecturer on EU competition law and policy at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, where he obtained his PhD. He is also the author of a book and various publications on the application of competition law to sport.
