Reed Smith Grows UK Competition Team

Global law firm Reed Smith announced the hire of corporate partner and competition law specialist Ross Mackenzie to its London office. This latest hire marks the ninth partner to join the firm’s Global Corporate Group across EME in 2020.

    Mackenzie, who joins from Ashurst where he began his career in 2000, has extensive experience of advising clients in all aspects of UK and EU competition law. He has worked on complex merger cases, antitrust and market investigations, advising clients before UK regulators and the European Commission, as well as the UK and European courts.

    Working across a variety of sectors including entertainment and media, finance, transportation, life sciences and healthcare, consumer goods, and TMT, Mackenzie brings a depth of expertise to the firm.
