Tras la venta reciente por parte de los principales bancos del país del 51% del sistema de procesamiento para tarjetas Visa Prisma, la filial argentina de Visa Internacional anunció la instrumentación en Argentina de su propia plataforma de pagos, conocida como VisaNet, para procesar todas las transacciones domésticas que se realizan con sus tarjetas, y que “permite que sus más de 3,300 millones de tarjetas en el mundo puedan utilizarse en más de 53 millones de comercios y 2.7 millones de cajeros automáticos (ATM) en más de 200 países y territorios…”
