Israel: Amazon buys CloudEndure

Israeli cloud computing start-up CloudEndure has been acquired by Amazon Web Services (AWS), reported Reuters. The deal is estimated to be worth US$200-$250 million.

    “CloudEndure is now an Amazon Web Services company,” the start-up announced on its website.

    “CloudEndure is now an AWS company. This acquisition expands our ability to deliver innovative and flexible migration, disaster recovery and backup solutions,” it stated.  Earlier this week Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported that Amazon was looking to buy CloudEndure for US$200 million.
