The Colombian Attorney General’s Office is investigating whether those involved, whose names are unknown, have given information to people linked to the government agency DGR Asesoría y Consultoría. The investigation was opened after documents were revealed that show that an official at the SIC had delivered this information in the presence of third parties from the Berkeley Research Group.

The Office of the Attorney General assures that “in the documents brought to the attention of the control body, it is stated that, apparently, an officer of the Superintendence provided information related to this company to an employee of the DGR Asesoría y Consultoría company. The Attorney General’s office will now carry out a series of tests to determine whether any administrative violations occurred.”
