US: Shearman & Sterling poaches new attorney from the FTC

This week, Ben Gris, former Assistant Director of the Mergers II Division of the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), joins Shearman & Sterling as a partner in its antitrust practice based in Washington, DC.

Gris’ practice focuses on merger counseling, litigation, and multi-jurisdictional transactions across a wide range of industries with a particular focus on the high-tech and innovative markets. He has an exceptional reputation for his work at the FTC on complex transactions in the U.S. and abroad.
