Morgan Lewis announced a new antitrust partner Christina Renner, who will be expanding the firm’s global capabilities to provide advice on competition matters to clients undertaking mergers and acquisitions or those confronting cartel investigations or regulatory matters. She will be resident in the firm’s Brussels office.
Ms. Renner moves from a French M&A and antitrust firm for which she established the Brussels office. German-qualified, she represents clients in both European Union and German merger control and antitrust law, including cartel and behavioral matters, abuse of dominance and state aid laws. She advises clients involved in M&A matters reviewed by the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office, as well as the Austrian, French, and Belgian competition authorities. Ms. Renner counsels cross-border clients, including those based in the United States, on antitrust matters before the European Commission and national competition authorities, and she handles litigation before the European courts.
“Christina offers our clients a global and pan-European perspective on competition matters, fulfilling a vital need for companies as they seek to grow internationally,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “She will provide a wide range of services not only to clients doing business via our Brussels office but also those who need assistance across Europe, including Germany, France, and the UK.”
