    There are Latin American transnational companies, national companies and transnational corporations competing on telecomms market in Latin America. In fact, the main operator in the region is América Móvil, a Mexican-origin trans-Latin, which faces a tough competition with Telefónica España. The objective of this paper is to analyze the state of competition in Latin American telecommunications, deepening the cases of Brazil and Chile . In the same way, it is important to analyze the regulatory andcompetition challenges faced by the authorities of the sector, emphasizing a cross-border perspective.
