Dr. Yun’s deep economic expertise will aid the GAI in expanding and enhancing its economic education program. Joshua Wright, GAI Executive Director, stated, “GAI’s core mission is to teach economics to judges and regulators around the world grappling with the ever-increasing demands of complex antitrust cases. I can’t think of an economist better equipped to promote that mission than John Yun. John offers a unique combination of talent and real-world agency experience, having led the FTC’s economic analysis in some of its most high-profile investigations.” Last year alone, the GAI’s economic education programs reached over 200 foreign judges and competition enforcers from around the world.

The GAI was created to promote the application of sound economic analysis to competition enforcement around the world through training programs, competition advocacy, and research. In addition to Wright and Yun, the GAI leadership team consists of Director Koren W. Wong-Ervin, Douglas H. Ginsburg, and Bruce H. Kobayashi.
