Creighton Macy, a highly regarded former antitrust enforcer with the US Department of Justice, will join Baker McKenzie’s Global Antitrust and Competition Practice as a Partner in Washington, DC.
Creighton most recently served as Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel in the DOJ’s Antitrust Division, working as a senior advisor to the Acting Assistant Attorney General on civil and criminal antitrust enforcement and policy matters, as well as budget and personnel issues. During Creighton’s time at the DOJ, the Antitrust Division undertook a substantial volume of high-profile civil and criminal matters.
“Our antitrust practice is a market leader for one-stop shop efficient global merger control, no matter how complex the deal,” said Fiona Carlin, Chair of Baker McKenzie’s Global Antitrust Practice Group in Brussels. “Creighton’s arrival strengthens our excellent team in Washington and reflects the increasing volume of high quality work being discharged there.”
