US: Friedman Kaplan antitrust lawyer jumps to Wilmer

Hallie Levin, a longtime litigation partner at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman, is joining Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr as a partner.

    Levin recently served as chair of the executive committee of the New York City Bar Association. She is now one of the city bar’s three vice presidents and a vice president at the Federal Bar Council.

    She recently defended software company Attachmate Corp., now part of Micro Focus International, in licensing disputes, and defended Viacom in an antitrust dispute.

    Levin said it’s an amicable departure. She said she is transitioning some clients to her new firm and will continue to collaborate with Friedman Kaplan on other matters.
