France: Advent offers $2.7bn for Safran

Advent International today announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Safran to acquire Safran Identity & Security, a global leader in identity and security solutions. Advent has made a firm and irrevocable offer of $2.72 billion for Safran I&S.
