Cove’s practice at Boies Schiller included a wide range of antitrust litigation, from price-fixing to boycotts to representing clients in federal grand jury investigations of alleged cartel activity. He recently entered an appearance on behalf of Delta Air Lines Inc. in a suit alleging that the airline colluded with other carriers to fix prices for multi-city journeys.

At Shearman, Cove said he expects to continue handling a variety of antitrust matters, and he was attracted to the firm’s broad corporate client base.

“Shearman has a very strong global presence, and antitrust is increasingly global,” Cove said. He added that he expected to help build out Shearman’s antitrust presence on the West Coast.
