Mexico’s telecommunications regulator IFETEL has announced it has granted concession licenses to AT&T, the US based telephone behemoth, and to América Móvil’s Telcel mobile operator, which will allow them to use and exploit broadcasting frequencies between 1710-1780 MHz and 2110-2180 MHz, also known as the AWS band.
