Uber, the world famous car-sharing and taxi-hailing app, may finally arrive in Argentina after many months of hinting at operations in the South American country. The company has published LinkedIn job postings for several management-level jobs set in Buenos Aires.
The company has not yet released any details of a launch date for the country. “This does not mean we have the conditions necessary or a date to begin operations. Part of our evaluation, which covers many levels, includes selecting the right talent in a process that may take many months. These positions aren’t new, and have been on our site for some time” said the company’s spokesperson in response to questions.
Among the positions advertised for Uber’s future Buenos Aires operations are Marketing Manager, Operations and Logistics Manager and Operation Coordinator.
