Mexico: At over $35 bn, Mergers and Acquisitions increase in 2015

Mexican consulting agency TTR released a report last week, analysing the year’s M&A transactions in Mexico. So far, the value of these transactions totals $35.5 billion dollars from January to November. This figure represents a 5% increase over 2014’s total.

    November was a particularly busy month, with 22 individual M&A deals coming through, totalling over 11.2 billion.

    Mexico ranked second among Latin American countries for the value of its M&A transactions for the year. Mexico trails far behind Brazil, which this year saw transactions worth a total of 67.7 billion.
