UK: Apple creates 1000 jobs in Ireland as tax avoidance verdict looms

Apple’s Irish honeymoon just got extended. In a major move that showcases its expansion plans in Europe, the tech giant announced the creation of 1,000 jobs, along with construction of a new building facility in Ireland. Ireland Prime Minister Enda Kenny announced the news in a tweet, after he met Apple CEO Tim Cook, earlier this morning, as per the latter’s European tour schedule this week.
