India: Regulator clears KEC International’s deal to sell 381 telecom sites

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has cleared KEC International’s deal to sell its 381 telecom sites in Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Mizoram to American Tower Corp’s (ATC) Indian arm, according to reports.

    Report stated that the deal has been cleared by the regulator and it is not likely to have any adverse impact on the competition in the market,” CCI official added.

    KEC has three tower manufacturing facilities at Nagpur, Jaipur and Jabalpur in India.
