Jones Day announced that it has strengthened its antitrust and competition practice in its Brussels office with the addition of a former McDermott Will & Emery LLP attorney whose practice focuses on German and European competition law.
“I am delighted to join the Jones Day antitrust team, which is well-known both for the tremendous legal talent of its lawyers and its exceptional worldwide presence,” said Mr. Werner. “In Brussels, Bernard Amory, Thomas Jestaedt, Alexandre Verheyden, and the entire team have a strong reputation in the EU law community.”
Mr. Werner has considerable experience advising on EU and German competition law matters and merger control, as well as in litigation before EU and national courts.
