Malaysia: 14 companies for bakery price fixing

The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) has fined 14 members of the Sibu Confectionery and Bakery Association for their involvement in fixing the price increase of between 10% and 15% on confectionery and bakery products.

    In a statement on Tuesday, MyCC said the decision came after its investigation into a price fixing agreement between 24 enterprises which found 15 of them had infringed the Competition Act.
