NZ: Mathews Law announces new appointment specialized in cartels and consumer protection
Mathews Law announced on Tuesday that Nicko Waymouth has joined as a Senior Associate. Waymouth is one of New Zealand’s most experienced competition lawyers, with particular expertise in mergers, cartel work and consumer protection/marketing law. He has been ranked as an “Associate to watch” in leading lawyers directory Chambers Asia-Pacific since 2012.
Waymouth is experienced in dealing with the New Zealand Commerce Commission. His merger work includes acting on the NZCC clearances for Hirepool to acquire Hirequip, CSR & Brickworks’ formation of a brick supply joint venture.
Waymouth joins Matthews Law from trans-Tasman firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts.
