The California law firm Hausfeld Global Litigation Solutions announced a new antitrust expert joining its San Francisco office as partner.
Bonny Sweeney has over 20 years of experience in leading or co-leading counsel in antitrust cases across the US including the case In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litig. (E.D.N.Y.) which ended in a settlement of $5.7 billion. In addition to her litigation experience, Sweeney is also the former Chair of the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section of the State Bar of California, as well as an advisory board member of the American Antitrust Institute and the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies.
Sweeney is the fourth partner to join Hausfeld recently, joining former federal district court judge Walter D. Kelley, former European General Counsel of Michelin Laurent Geelhand and Frederick T. Kuykendall.
