Manatt, Phelps & Phillips announced antitrust lawyer Lisl J. Dunlop will join the firm at its New York office.
According to reports, Dunlop will join Manatt as partner from Shearman & Sterling, where she helped launch its competition practice in the UK.
Manatt says Dunlop holds more than two decades of experience in several areas of expertise, including healthcare, media and technology. Much of her work includes antitrust advising related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other matters.
Reports say the lawyer has appeared before the European Commission, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and former UK Office of Fair Trading to represent clients in antitrust matters.
Manatt specializes in antitrust compliance, cartels, monopolization, mergers and acquisitions, and other areas at its Antitrust practice.
