Baker & McKenzie has reportedly boosted its operations in Hong Kong through a recent hire of Clifford Chance’s antitrust unit.
Reports say Clifford Chance’s Stephen Crosswell, a partner at the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice, will join Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong as partner. Reports say Crosswell is known as one of the leading antitrust lawyers in the region. The hire reaffirms Baker & McKenzie’s efforts to strengthen its operations in Asia, say reports.
The head of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition group, Samantha Mobley, said the hire is in response to “huge demand for deep antitrust expertise in Hong Kong and China.”
