US: ADM boosts agribusiness with Swiss buyout

Agribusiness conglomerate ADM is reportedly set to acquire a Swiss food and beverage ingredients company for $3.13 billion.

    ADM inked a deal with Wild Flavors, which will aid the US firm in expanding its operations in the agricultural food industry. Wild Flavors specializes in flavor systems, fruit juice concentrates, natural flavors and blends, according to reports.

    The companies are reportedly expecting to finalize the deal by the end of the year, pending antitrust approval.
