UK: New research finds small businesses struggle with energy dominance

    According to repots, the Federation of Small Businesses, a leading business organization, conducted a survey of small energy businesses, the first such study since the so-called Big Six energy companies vowed to offer more support to small businesses. But FSB found that 81 percent of FSB members felt that energy suppliers are not concerned with their needs, while 65 percent found it difficult to change energy suppliers.

    FSB said it plans to present the research today to energy watchdog Ofgem’s planned consultation meeting. Ofgem is considering whether the industry review should be referred to the Competition and Markets Authority.
